I just picked up a 48 hour radon test kit from the hardware store. The package says to set it up in the lowest livable area and leave it undisturbed for exactly two days. After that, you mail it off to a lab and get results back by mail or online. Kind of reassuring to know what's actually in the air we breathe at home.
