So the IBR roof leak fix came together after a week of on-and-off rain, which finally gave me the chance to test the new edge flashing and sealant. I layered the rubberized coating along the ridge joints, making sure each overlap was fully bonded. That persistent drip near the chimney is finally gone, and the whole system feels solid now. The flat seams needed extra attention, but it was worth the effort to stop that water from seeping into the attic every storm.
